Day #3 - Aspen, CO to Park City, UT

By tlno | August 12, 2008

Monday, June 23, 2008

Leaving Colorado with the owner of my company in the truck with me, we reflected back on the time he spent in jail the night before.

Apparently, even if you don’t actually HAVE a drivers license in the US, they can suspend it for not paying a fine. In 2006, Victor received a citation as we left Colorado. he thought he paid it, the state of Colorado said he didn’t. Guess who won that argument.

Traveling through Colorado into Utah, we passed through a town called “Dinosaur” - it is real, look it up. For some odd reason, Dinosaurs keep popping up throughout this trip. Very odd.

Bill Wu’s RBP powered H2 broke as we left Miller Motorsports park. Team Canada’s Porsche ended up on a flatbed, it was a matter of time. Happens every year. I hope they finish. One of the Ferrari’s from NYC fried their clutch.

Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!!!

Day #2 - Big Sky, MT to Aspen, CO

By tlno | August 12, 2008

Sunday, June 22, 2008

Not that I didn’t like Big Sky, MT. I have nothing against it. BUT I am glad we went there before we stopped in Aspen. What an amazing city.

Today was the longest day of the BULLRUN. Almost 700 miles. We had a teammate get arrested, but no tickets as of yet for anyone else.

The only Lamborghini in the event broke down, this year seems to be riddled with car problems. Even the unbeatable Rawlings was taken out yesterday.

Day #1: Calgary to Big Sky, MT

By tlno | August 12, 2008

Saturday, June 21, 2008

It all began so simply, the flag drop, wheels spin and the rally begins. The field of 65 cars followed the official PACE CAR, our black Spyker, through the streets of Calgary.

With a field of over eager newbies, there was a record number of tickets issued, a newly modified bumper, and a new contender entered the field.

First “Official” car to Big Sky: The Grey RS4.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

BULLRUN Pre-Game

By tlno | August 12, 2008

Friday, June 20, 2008

As you can see we had WAY too much to do… From getting Victor’s car from the customs warehouse at the airport, to gathering everything we needed.

We got it done, and are ready to roll.

Our Motivation

By tlno | May 9, 2008

Most of us live our lives and take the daily activities such as eating, drinking, exercising and sleeping for granted. People who have Type 1 diabetes must always be aware of what they eat, drink, exercise effects and even dangers that exist as they sleep. Rally to Benefit JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) was created to provide another avenue for people to contribute to JDRF, which is dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes. We are participating in the annual Bullrun Rally which starts in Calgary,AB on June 20th and ends in Phoenix,AZ on June 27th, to raise money for diabetes research. All contributions are 100 % tax deductible and our goal is to raise over $100,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. With the help of 4 wonderful teams and your generous spirit we can achieve this goal….together lets help find a way to change the lives of all the people who are daily heroes & survivors of Type 1 diabetes.
